Mando Group launch new Liverpool Biennial website
Mando Group launch new Liverpool Biennial site and pick up two major accounts in arts and culture sector.
The new website for the UK’s International Festival of Contemporary Visual Art, Liverpool Biennial, was launched last week to an eager audience of contemporary art lovers. The site has been launched to mark the run up to the fifth Biennial festival taking place in Liverpool between September and November.
Mando Group have been Liverpool Biennial’s web partner for the past two years and previously designed and developed the organisation’s festival site for 2006.
The website is content rich and features video, photography, integration with YouTube and Flickr, as well as podcasts and a blog. The Biennial also wanted to get visitors talking and wanted the capability to spark discussion and comment. The site allows the Biennial to ask questions to their visitors encourage comments on artworks and projects and discuss the Biennial in general.
Mando Group is continuing to consolidate their market leading position in the sector, and in recent months have signed up Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts and The Everyman & Playhouse as customers, as well as continuing their long standing relationships with ACC Liverpool, Liverpool Culture Company and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic.
Simone Peter, Arts & Culture Account Manager, Mando Group commented:
Through our work with key organisations within the culture sector we have gained significant understanding of the objectives of cultural organisations that need to provide accessible information, and engaging online experiences to increasingly wider audiences. The pace of development and possibilities for innovations are very exciting in this sector, and we are committed to further research development in this area with cultural partners.
